On This Day-24: Live Another Day

This month, we can celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the TV event, 24: Live Another Day.  The first episode premiered in May, and final episode ended in July.

On June 30, 2014, during an episode, fans noticed that a familiar face showed up, all dressed to the nines in military garb; a familiar feel of military strategy, tact, sternness and seriousness...

but without the exotic locations, the bromance, the ammunition, the British accent, and the "big guns."

24: Live Another Day was a mini-series, bringing back Jack Bauer for one more job to save the world and get the bad guys.

The cast included Kiefer Sutherland-as Jack Bauer, Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter, Chuck), Tate Donovan (MacGyver, Damages, The OC), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Two Broke Girls), William Devane, Kim Raver, Benjamin Pratt, Stephen Fry, and many more.

Philip only showed up in the last 3 episodes, but it was a pleasure to see him pop up on screen, especially with Strike Back filming or about to air the last season.

Philip has appeared in a couple of other TV miniseries such as Maneater and Syfy's Alice, aside from guest appearing in Fringe, CSI Miami, and of course the Chicago and Law & Order series.

Looking for something to watch during the 4th of July holiday?  Binge watch 24: Live Another Day on Amazon Prime or on DVD/Blu-ray.

While we wait for Philip's new project, check out the pictures below of Colonel Shaw, played by Philip.

Philip Winchester on "24-Live Another Day"

Did you happen to catch Philip appearing in the last 2 episodes of the show?  If not, go and watch!

It's great to see Philip in other shows while we wait for Strike Back to come back.

Bad news, though.  Strike Back won't be back until 2015.  It has been delayed as production was halted after Sully had an off-set injury.  Good news though, the production will continue in the fall, so we'll have more pictures from the set.  Read more here.

Some extra news: Philip's character in the film, "Undrafted," which is in post production, has a name: Fotch.  According to IMDB, the film is scheduled to be released this year.  Maybe a feel-good, holiday film?  We'll have to wait and see.

Until later!
