Philip Winchester on "24-Live Another Day"

Did you happen to catch Philip appearing in the last 2 episodes of the show?  If not, go and watch!

Pictures from Kiara.com @walelia

It's great to see Philip in other shows while we wait for Strike Back to come back.

Bad news, though.  Strike Back won't be back until 2015.  It has been delayed as production was halted after Sully had an off-set injury.  Good news though, the production will continue in the fall, so we'll have more pictures from the set.  Read more here.

Some extra news: Philip's character in the film, "Undrafted," which is in post production, has a name: Fotch.  According to IMDB, the film is scheduled to be released this year.  Maybe a feel-good, holiday film?  We'll have to wait and see.

Until later!

Philip in Thailand and We've Expanded Our Social Media!

Thanks to the wonderful Sean McNulty  who is in Thailand right now, we were graciously endowed with at least two pictures on Philip's birthday.

Here are the links to his pictures, because we want you to actually go to his Twitter account.

Thank you again to Sean for sharing these pictures.  It was an awesome gift to the fans of Strike Back and Philip.  Sean, you are the best!

For Philip's birthday, we opened a Facebook page: Fans of Philip Winchester.  We already know that there is a photo page by a fan, but after a lot of prodding, we decided to open a page.  We'll still be active here and Twitter, but for fans who really want to hang out on Facebook, we're there now.  We opened a few other places, too, but we're still tweaking them.

Thank you all for the support we have for Strike Back, Philip, and his cast mates, and crew mates.

Filming in Thailand and Cast/Crew on Twitter

According to posts on Twitter and Instagram, filming in Thailand for Strike Back is done for the time being.

If you are interested in notices about the actors and filming Strike Back, you should be following:

Eliza Hope Bennett  ‏
Michelle Lukes
Leo Gregory
Sonia Pim Couling

Milauna Jemai

They are pretty good at posting tweets and pictures, but they do use their accounts for sharing personal items, too.  They've shared some great pictures from their film schedule and some about the areas they have worked and played. We want you to check out their pages so we aren't going to post pictures they've posted here.

We're not sure about this one but Sully supposedly has an account.  Not much happening on it.
Sullivan Stapleton  @sullstapleton77.

A long time ago, supposedly Philip had one but it was reported that it wasn't him, although the pictures posted were great indication that it was him.  Photos were posted that were of him that weren't 'photo shoots' or other previously seen pictures.  We don't have the whole story but until otherwise, we will continue to be your main source of all Philip news.

You can also check out our Twitter site to see former actors and crew members from the series.  We have some wonderful people who were part of the show one time or another:

max beesley@maxbeesley7
daniel benzenou
Liam Garrigan
KarenDavid
amanda mealing
Jimi Mistry
Melanie Liburd
Actor Oris Erhuero
Orla Brady

If you know of any more twitter accounts that need to be represented in our list let us know.  Post a suggestion in the response box.  We were very sorry to hear that Robson Green closed his twitter account.  We are grateful that a fan page was opened and that his passion for fishing was not left behind, as Extreme Fishing also opened a page for the show.

The director has an account but smartly, his account closed to the public.

We'd also like to start spotlighting fan pages, whether it is a page for the show or one of Philip's previous or upcoming projects or whether it is a fan page for other actors who have worked with Philip.  It doesn't have to be a Twitter page, either.  It could be a website, Facebook page, blog, or any other type of site/page/forum that you or your group has worked hard to promote.

While the show is in hiatus, we'd like to really connect with fans in all areas.

Please post suggestions in the comment box or send us a message through our Twitter page.

Delays in Filming Strike Back's Season 4

For the most part, we are on hiatus unless we hear news online about Philip's work.

At this time though, it has been reported that the production for the last season of Strike Back has been put on hold because of a serious injury that happened to one of the stars.

One of our members got the Google alert in email and feared the worst.  We surely didn't want to report that something happened bad to anyone on set, let alone that it happened to Philip.

Still sadly, it has been reported that Sully (Sullivan Stapleton) was injured.  According to reports, it did not happen on set, which is a relief.  But then again, not being on set may mean that there was not a watchful crew that cares for injured staff.

The crew is in Thailand, so we are hoping that it is was a dumb accident and not something caused by another human being.  Variety reports that Sully's publicist said that he was “resting comfortably and on his way to a full recovery.”

Our thoughts are with Sully.  Get well!

Filming will continue with the rest of the cast and crew until the end of March and will be put on hold until the fall (?!) in Hungary.

So...we don't know how that will delay the last season for us diehards.  The world premiere of "300" is coming soon and the film will be out next week in the states and other places.  We'll be there watching Sully fight the hoards of invaders.

He's looking just as good the actors did in the first film.  We cannot wait!
