For the most part, we are on hiatus unless we hear news online about Philip's work.
At this time though, it has been reported that the production for the last season of Strike Back has been put on hold because of a serious injury that happened to one of the stars.
One of our members got the Google alert in email and feared the worst. We surely didn't want to report that something happened bad to anyone on set, let alone that it happened to Philip.
Still sadly, it has been reported that Sully (Sullivan Stapleton) was injured. According to reports, it did not happen on set, which is a relief. But then again, not being on set may mean that there was not a watchful crew that cares for injured staff.
The crew is in Thailand, so we are hoping that it is was a dumb accident and not something caused by another human being. Variety reports that Sully's publicist said that he was “resting comfortably and on his way to a full recovery.”
Our thoughts are with Sully. Get well!
Filming will continue with the rest of the cast and crew until the end of March and will be put on hold until the fall (?!) in Hungary.
So...we don't know how that will delay the last season for us diehards. The world premiere of "300" is coming soon and the film will be out next week in the states and other places. We'll be there watching Sully fight the hoards of invaders.
He's looking just as good the actors did in the first film. We cannot wait!
